Issue with Hazards

I swapped out my 04 stock center console with an 06 console. Everything works perfectly but today the info screen said the trunk was ajar. I was on the interstate and had to stop. I tried putting on my hazard lights, NOTHING! I turned the car off then back on... STILL NOTHING! Anybody knows what can be wrong? I didnt mess with that part at all, I just took the plate off.

Any ideas?

when you install the new center console did you unplug the battery? if no, unplug it and replug. if that's not the case. most likely it's the fuse

Yeah double check that you plugged back in the wire that goes to the hazards on the shifter plate...
