climate control and rear defog

Deos any one know how this system works? Ok so when you have lets say the temp set around 80 degress and it's about lets say 29 degress or less out
and your heating with out the A/C on doesn't the A/C come back on to maintain that temp of 80 degress? well it's gotten warmer so now instead of
the defroster foot outletsvents coming on to maintain temp and in this mode A/C is turns on, now it's around 50 -60 degress and the mode is changing to
front vent to blow the outside air in the car A/C doesn't turn on. Now if I hit Auto, the A/C comes on or I could just turn it on is this all controlled by the
outside temp in Auto mode or manual

Now with rear defrost does that turn off after a period time because I had to use it last night and it didn't turn off on it's own after the window
cleared? or mabe I didn't wait long enough

I really dont understand your question but I use the manual mode all the time because the auto mode doesnt do anything logical. The fan speed will be auto, I set the modes and A/C.

I donno know whats with the Auto mode in the Maxima's, even in the winter time when its 15 degrees outside, I hit auto set to 75 degrees and it turns on A/C if I turn it off, it comes back on again in a while.. you would think if the cabin reaches the desired temp the climate control system should just lower/turn off the fan.. Keep it simple, use the manual mode with Auto fan.

Auto is fine for summer. It sucks for winter.

It turns AC on even when it's too cold outside for it to work and even when the air is not humid (would need a humidity meter)

It turns the fan too low when it's cold outside (windows freeze) (need to adjust manually).

Eh

To answer ur last question...u probably didnt wait long enough...it goes off on its own after a while - does not necessarily mean it will go off rite after the window has defogged

a/c works as a dehumidifier and will prevent the inside from fogging up.

the rear defrosters turn off after 15minutes.

Yeah, but the dehumidifier is not controlled by the humidity.

Around 0-5 celcius when it rains, it's fine. But turning on at -20 celcius is useless, and the fan gets too low even when real cold out...

I just set it manually.

not the humidity outside, the moisture inside the car. the a/c helps absorb the moisture in the air from sources such as your own breath.

the AC also turns on in my 05 Nissan Quest which has the same dash set up as the Maxima. . I also have an 05 Maxima and the AC turns on whenever I turn the heat on. . It dont bother me, I just turn it off, but it turns back on but I just ignore it. .

In Auto mode the A/C compressor doesn't run when it's below freezing outside.
