Spolier Help Fast

05 maxima... with an 07 spoiler...

Everything is on... just need the wire connections... it seems not to work

Instructions say connect spoiler red wire to car red wire with think green stripe

and black wire from spoiler to black wire from car

HOWEVER

I have a red wire with thin BLUE NOT GREEN

And i have another PURPLE wire...

CONFUSED

HELP!!

red to red will be fine. and the black to black will be fine... purple wire? not so sure.

Did you run it to the OEM 3rd brake light? Get a tester and test the wires. I would assume if you are at the 3rd brake light that the red would be power and purple ground?

I looked at the FSM (which I highly recommend you all do!) and couldn't find wiring for the 3rd brake light...

hmm, basically, you have to connect the spoiler cable to the 3rd brake light cable. Where is your cable right now? did you pass it though the trunk rubber tube?

i just paid the stealership $40 to do it.... And i was able to keep my original top break light.

I paid $50 but had them remove the top one, it was just to much with both for me...

I stopped looking at instructions and just thought logically... pretty simple...

Kept my 3rd brake light and connected the Spoiler wires to the left Tail light end of questions... works Better than ever
