Yea sorry fellas, I have been going to San Francisco Monday through Friday for the past two months, and that has slowed down things really bad, right now I just have to make the call, either go with a polyurethane lip and spend tons on the mold and not have Carbon Fiber lips as an option, or go with a fiber reinforced plastic lip cheaper mold and carbon fiber lips as an option. , I almost know what im going to do but let me know what you guys think.

Considering how low that lip will sit, cheap material is not a good option, need something that will flex a little or that lip will be done fast. I vote Poly too. I personally don't care for Carbon fiber anything. If people want carbon fiber, they can get them wrapped themselves.

Poly FTW!!! If i were to get a lip in carbon fiber i would have to spend more for other costly carbon fiber accessories. Im pretty sure everyone else is wondering but what is your target time to start shipping?

I know I've posted this before but this is as close as I got to a lip for a 6.5. This was back in 10/25/08 Houston meet. Illinoize was his screen name and he was working on a lip.

Whoa, what did I just do? Has this project turned a leaf? I hope this Mugen lip works out. I like how he thinks, working with something that already exists and just making few adjustments. I talked to him in the last Houston meet but nothing definitive came out from our conversation. I don't know if he got sidetracked or just dropped the project completely. That lip was 90% complete. The only problem it had is that it was an inch too short on the ends

1. Please confirm this is a Mugen lip by the packaging. (His ginormous pics not mines)

Dang, he was working on side skirts too

The complete thread on the 6thgen site;http://www.6thgenmaxima.org/forums/s...ated-08-13-pix

This lip is like bigfoot. There have been talk, pics, and sightings, but does it really exists???
