Get Wheel off hub
hey guys, i have a problem. i installed spacers a few weeks ago and this past weekend i had a friend come over b/c i wanted to bleed my brakes. all 19/20 lug nuts came off but one was stuck and just kept spinning. i am trying to figure out a way to get that lug nut off [breaking is ok!] so i can exchange the spacer i installed with the defective lug nut. please advise.

Sorry but it sounds like your gonna have to split the lug with a chisel and a hammer. The stud is useless if the lug just keeps turning, so just split it off and replace both. Whats gonna suck is that you will very likely scratch/gauge your wheel.

I say put everything back on and take it to LEXBrodies or Discount tire and have it become a professional's problem. Just act like they broke it and get all pissed off at em. Also if they scratch the rims then they have to repair them. Worth the money and time if you ask me.

I say put everything back on and take it to LEXBrodies or Discount tire and have it become a professional's problem. Just act like they broke it and get all pissed off at em. Also if they scratch the rims then they have to repair them. Worth the money and time if you ask me.

Either carefully drill it out, or take it to a mechanic to get it off...they'll probably charge you ~$50 to replace the stud.

It's a great way to get some inocent mech in trouble at his work too...It's one thing if you were actually never aware, but come on...trying to blame someone else isn't cool.
Besides, once they see the spacers, they're going to point fingers back and say you shouldn't have used them, and those are the root of the problem.
