mercedes front end interest thread.

Ok, lets make this plain and simple, chulo is selling his custom bumper, I could mass produce the bumper but I need to see if I can pre sale some bumpers before I buy it, , price wise, bumper will be in the low 300s and shipping ~150s with a deposit of 100 material will be FRP or CF depending on what you want. so who is in?

bumper in question.

It lacks the aggressive look to it. The bottom should be pushed out a little more and make the "lip" looking thing a little bigger. And the angle of the stock grille area is not really matching the bottom air dam angle which is kinda weird. I think it would look mean as hell if you make it more angle for the top or something.
Just my .02

I think i should have bought an 04-06, because the 07-08 mods are kinda hard to find and sometimes far and few inbetween, and if you do find them, modificaiton is required, anyone else feel this way

None taken. It was a cut and paste. Of course a real photochop would be better.

Can you gauge interest for something that looks like the 07/08 bumper but no need to change the head lights or hood to bring the foglights down. something like the top half of the 04-06 with the bottom half of the 07/08? Just a idea. Sorry dont mean to thread jack.

Looks sweet but needs to be a little more aggressive. I don't know about many but I would prefer to keep the cornering lights. Just because of the functionality and look.

Bingo! I would be more interested in that one. I've always like the 07 bumper but I just couldn't get past modding the hood etc. It would be nice if we kept the 04-06 opening though. Sooo many more grill options at this point for the 04 front.

I agree as well. This mercedes bumper isn't aggressive enough and I would rather have something that looks like the newer 07-08 bumpers.

I'd like to see something mild looking with fog openings in the front.

So is it true that this Mercedes front end is a "no go"?

Well if it's a no -go I still nominate a 07 look-a-like bumper. We can get 07 fogs down low, but it would be cool to keep the 04 opening.
