Help Check Engine light

hello every one i need you help. so i have 2006 nissan maxime se and this is the second time i have the check engine light from the same code it is p0507 idle control system rpm higher than expected last time it happen was about 6 months ago and i end up putting new mass air flow sensor the deler told me that it happend because of my nismo cold air intake so they told me to remove it but i didn't now i have the same problem and i don't know what to do and i don't want to remove my intake i have my intake for almost 3 years and never had the problem before until 6 months ago plese help me any advise thank you

Try the idle air relearn procedure first:

Ask the dealer why they are selling it if its throwing check engine lights or why nissan even bothers to manufacture these intakes? I doubt its your nismo intake. Ive had one for a while now and its been good to me.

why you think that the idle air relearn procedure will help i have the intake for 3 years and the problem started happening now

Nthing will make cel come on if u puting peformance parts n nissan don't know nthing bout peformance parts. Find out y cel coming on from nissan dealers then go to any shops show them nissan paper n do nt show them prices or find your friend who know bout car n let him do it. Make sure cheap labor bec he working on side.

lmao. Doing the idle air relearn procedure will not hurt and costs nothing. Take your time and do it right. If anything it will not fix the allready occuring problem. Also try using some MAF sensor cleaner.
