Fujita mounting bracket
Fujita mounting bracket
Did anyone elses mounting bracket break? I am referring to the rubber bushing that helps secure the pipe to the car. Mine broke, so I had to rig up another setup. I left a message on Fujita's service line and never got a call back. My setup works better anyway.

Huh.

To OP... yeah, a few have broken from what I remember... well, the actual brackets at least. My rubber bushing for the bolt that screws into the fender is also looking worse for wear every time I pop the hood. Check out chern's pics...
But I'm just waiting for R2C to finish designing/testing their intake for our cars. Once they are done, out with my Fujita.

If you have bad/worn out engine mounts the motor has alot more play in its forward/backward movement. Thus, rocking your intake all over the place and breaking the rubber mounting nub. Mine broke, replaced it with a new one from Fujita. Replaced my motor mounts aswell with new oem mounts with Racingline MMI's front & rear and the motor stays in place alot better than before. New Fujita mount is still in excellent shape as of today too. Im not saying this is the case for everyone who broke the mount on the jita, just a very good possibility.
i just bought one of these intakes used. and that bushing is the dumbest worthless piece of crap. two metal pieces glued on to rubber. i dont even know how they thought that would last.
i plan on grabbing a thick radiator bushing that has a hole in it already and just grab a long bolt and a fat washer for it.
