I'll post pics of the nissan emblem back to chrome later today. The red looked a lot better when I had it looking like this:



But I can tell that its way too different now with the changes that have been made. Thats for your guys' opinions and I'll post pics when its finished.

 

That Max is starting to remind me of another Max on this .org...

 

Why don't you just paint all emblems to match car black. That will look different. Your 6thgen deserves better than that.

If ur dead set on leaving it then atleast get another nissan badge or paint it a darker color like grey and fix the spacing between the "MAXIMA"

Personally id shave everything and put the "MAXIMA" where the Nissan emblem is...

Man do yourself a favour and either debadge this thing or put it out of it's misery!

 

My suggestion. Put your Nismo badge in place of the red badge. Remove the 3.5 and respace your Maxima letters. It would be fine then. Keep at it. I've seen a "smoke" chrome mod by someone on here. That might look good too.

Thanks guys, I agree with the red emblem. I have it black now which looks sick but I'm definitely thinking changing it back to chrome. I'll post pics soon.

 

Thanks for the advice guys.. I ended up taking off the top emblem after all. I made it black, then chrome, then realized it looks a lot better without it.

me too, thanks! It definitely made a big difference. I photoshopped it to take out the bottom maxima and the 3.5 but I didn't like how it looked at all. It looked too east county for me.

You need to remove that license plate frame. It's throwin' everything off. Move the MAXIMA badge to the top of the plate. Remove the NISMO badge.

Nah I could take off the taillights while holding my breath. Just 4 nuts and unclipping the lights. Anyone have a writeup for removing the headlights on a 2007?

Everyone on the org tries to make their car standout and turn heads. No matter what you do, the result is you eaither get compliments, critics, suggestions or tips. But as long as you are happy with WHAT YOU DID, that is all that matters. Be it shaved, or not, red, black or what. Congrats on the job you did yourself!!!

But since you are smoking your car, why not keep the emblems smoke, black or chrome?

I smoked my tails the same way you did rock and it looks amazing and if I had a third light on a spoiler I would tint that one too or maybe do what I did with the stock third brake light inside the car and put vinyl over it . I will see if I can find a pic of what my third brake like looks like so you see what I mean. I deffinitly agree with everyone by saying there is too much on the rear of that car. I would get rid of the MAXIMA and put vinyl on the third brake light to say Maxima. Hold on now I have to find the pic so you see what I am saying. I made this after seeing them being sold on EBAY thought I could do better. I did. They only offer TimeNewRoman font. I took my 3rd brake light out and measured top-bottom and side-side. Opened Microsoft word and put a box with the same dimension and Set page to Landscape. Picked my font and what I wanted it to say and walla got my design. Took it to the vinyl shop nearby and had them cut and trace it out for me. Then I installed it. Looks great IMO. Couldn't think of anything better that wouldn't get me pulled over so that was it. Also think it's awesome when people drive behind me thinking I am some thug when really I am more of a punk. I listen to punk music insainly loud and even some harder stuff like Hatebreed and Disturbed. I know it's wierd but it's me expressing myself. Sorry for rambling hope this gives you an idea that takes away that MAXIMA lettering off the rear end.

ya bro i didnt really like where u put maxima it luks wired so u can just take off da maxima nd put infinity emblem on it will luk much better with nismo nd 3.5 se i have it on mine but im gonna take off maxima nd 3.5se nd gonna put SILIVIA 240zx it came in 1994 i love dat car dat ***** was fast but not even gonna put 350z cuz i knw ppl are gonna laugh..lol
