Why'd you paint over the Nissan badge? It would look better chrome.

It seems you like all the emblems to still be on, I personally think just having the Nissan burger in the center top where it already is and painting it a little darker would look great and be easy to do. I just think between the 3 emblems and one of them being red that it makes the rear look like a coloring book. Im very sure many others will agree that its not the cleanest look- but of course its your car and if you like it keep it!

Here's another angle. I'm going to smoke the taillights again today. Anyone else notice that after smoking their tails-it seems to fade in the sun? I did it with tint spray and a gloss coat.

I got a 'thumbs-up' sign from another Maxima this morning on the way to work. Also, the guy I parked next to said "Nice! You do that yourself? I might want something like that done to mine."
I know everyone's tastes are different but I love it. Its definitely growing on me. I'll post updates when I re-smoke the tails.

Something that has to grow on you will also have to grow on others. So if the "Others" are just passer byes or people who don't see it enough they will think the same thing I thought when I first saw it and that's "gross" I really don't like it no matter what angle you try to throw at us. I mean honestly to each their own but I would give you a thumbs down on the highway or laugh. Most likely speed up and get as far away as I could to avoid the embarrassment.
dont know what to say. other members have the nismo badge and some have only left the maxima. some left only the burger and added uthe SE-R with the rest of the emblems. I feel with the 07 spoiler all that stuff maxima,3.5se and the burger is too much from the factory. maybe the burger and thats it.

I just smoked the taillights but left the reverse light. I don't car what anyone thinks, I think it looks ****ing legit. Someone even just came up and took a picture of it and I had never seen them before!
Bro i think everyone will agree with me, debage the trunk fully and get a new Nissan burger. Then give her two coats of wax and call it a day.
Dont end up like one of those guys with the carpet on the dashboard.........cause thats the direction this is headed.

Please don't take this the wrong way. I think you may feel the red emblem is cool because, when you see the car from the rear, the lights are off. When you tap that brake light and that red emblem lights up in a different way than the light does, it isn't going to look good at all. Between smoked red tail lights, the break light not being smoked, and the different color red emblem, the contrast will be very bad. IMO
