Thinking about lowering, need advice

So Im dead set on lowering my max. I got pretty tired of the body roll and overall feel like Im driving a "titanic"

My first choice is Eibach pro kit with KYB GR2 shocks, set on ebay is going for 450 shipped which is insanely cheap for struts and springs package. Question is, how good of a set up is it and does anyone actually have a bone stock looking maxima with eibachs on it? I want to see how the drop looks before i actually do it.

Thanks guys.

Hi! I have the Eibach Pro Kit 1 with KYB GR2's and the set up looks great...however before your garage removes the old springs and shocks, I would recommend that they mark the spot (Timing) and direction on how the original shocks and springs were mounted and use that mark as a guide for the new set-up. I would also recommend changing the top bearing mounts on both sides too. Do you have the extended warranty?
My 2005 Max is covered till 2010!

My wheels are 18" Konig Again 5 and the tires are similar to stock... I recommend to stay with stock set-up if you live in an area where the streets are rough and there are some pot holes! Tires: Riken Raptors: 245/45ZR18 8.5 all around (Michelins BG Goodrich production line.) I paid $700 Cdn last year tax in for all 4 tires.

I had them changed under warranty this year. Also inspect the end links on your front strut (stablizer bar) and change that too if it's noisy.

Good Luck!

Awesome thank you for response and pictures.

My area where i live isnt too bumpy at all, its mostly freshly paved backroads and smooth highways. This set up would be great for me. IM getting it next paycheck for shure

Thanks again.
