NWP Via Plate & Spacers finally Installed!

Hi everyone!

Just had my NWP Via plate installed with the NWP Isothermal spacers. The cold air intake actually whistles a bit... like what you hear from a turbo blow-off valve! The power comes on smooth but very strong and the car can now accelerate 0 - over 100 KPH (70 mph) in 1st and 2nd without going to third! (Automatic) lots of power now on the highway when in 3rd. The CAI and this mod together sounds like a loud motorcyle on the highway when in 3rd doing about 70 MPH or about 110! Sounds like that when you floor it too. I would almost say that there is now too much power to floor it as the car seems too powerful and fast! I also have a custom exhaust pipe and have removed the resonator....so it sounds like a G35/37. And the UR/UDP too. So that's it for now.
These are all mods that I would highly recommend!

Ya NWP makes some nice stuff. Get the Racingline Ypipe and you'll add even more power to the car

Get some real sticky tires. Make sure all that power is hitting the ground.

I love that whistle the spacers make , I'm still debating on the block off plate...a lot of people are tellin me the low end loss is hardly notceable and that it is more than made up for at the top.

I have both installed (- the Y pipe) and I love the sound and the HP, not to mention the Fujita CAI I have also. Y pipe will be getting installed after I return from Iraq.

Unbelieveable! Truly awesome power difference noticeable especially in the automatic in 2nd gear. My car used to change gears at 85 kph (50 MPH) on the way to 60 and 2nd was almost a useless gear when trying to slow down around corners because there was always something lacking just before 3rd gear....not anymore! I don't need the y pipe...I have a custom exhaust & Cat. No resonator either...with custom chrome tails pushed back in plain view under then rear bumper too. Although I might consider the Y pipe maybe next year. I'm concentrating now on the interior mods...stereo and some LEDS and considering the LED tails....
The 0 - 60 is far improved and third gear on the highway is even better than before. I would like to try some 99 octane...I wonder what a 50 shot of wet NOX would be like too! But that would be too much trouble....bent piston rods ....etc...see what happend to our buddy Chern, he had to rebuild his engine....and that's big $$$. The car sounds mean too and I love that whistling it does when you punch it....sounds like a blow-off valve on a turbo! I'ts freaking loud in tunnels and under over passes! I will post a video soon!

Thanks to Aaron92se!

I have Riken Raptors....245/45/18 8" They are a ZR rated tire like on a Mustang GT500 or a Corvette and they are very sticky....like glue around corners on Konigs (Light yet strong) wheels and with my Eibach and KYB's It's just flypaper!

I had the spark plugs changed to NKG Iridiums and a new PCV filter too.
I was charge for 4 hours labour @ $75 and hour. These guys know what they're doing too...My tech used to work for Saleen! The work was done up here in the west island of Montreal...5 minutes from home....very convenient too!

Actually this looks very tempting! 13 at the wheel...now I don't want to engange in ricer math but I would like to get dynoed now to see what my current set-up is. UR/UDP, Custom Exhaut piping, AEM CAI, NWP Via Plate, NWP Spacers....etc.

Is there a risk of running a bit too lean with all of this?
