GTR BUMPER OWNERS HELP!!

For those of you who have already installed this bumper, do you have any tips or recommendations for me before I tackle this thing? I've had the GTR bumper sitting in my place for a week now. I want to install it at least to check for fitment but I noticed it has no predrilled holes for anything... any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

You should be able to get a fine tipped sharpy up above the bolt holes and make markings from the inside. I would take and lift the front end and put on stands. Then take the tires off and turn the wheel to allow you working room. take out the inner wheel well plastic pieces. they are real easy to take out and reinstall, and well worth removing for a project like this. once done with that you should be able to access the bolts without a problem. get a couple phone books or something to let the new bumper rest on while sitting in place for alignment and bolt hole marking. If you can get help with this I highly recommend it just for help holding and supporting the bumper. You don't want to mess up the alignment on this thing. Also make sure you have your wire mesh and fog lights ready if you plan on using them so you don't have to go through this work again. Have a plan and make sure you have all the materials before you tackle it. I got my wire mesh from Home Depot because it was cheap and easy, plus looks good. I recommend if you use their mesh to also buy a can of clear coat to spray on the mesh to keep it looking clean and fresh through the rough weather. use a cardboard box to make your template and the sharpie to outline on the mesh. tin snips to make the cuts. You are also going to need gloves when handling this stuff. trust me I cut my hand first time I grabbed this stuff. sharp as razor blades. get some clear silicone or some adhesive to secure the mesh. I drilled tiny holes at the top part of the lower opening and used black tiestraps to hold my mesh in place if that helps for ideas. hope this helps. GL and post pics when done.

After you've done all that. Don't forget to sand the whole thing and use some body filler on the imperfections. Once its primed/ painted and cleared the imperfections stand out like crazy.

He's talking about the GTR so no fogs and mesh is included. But you can pretty much hang it on the car, phone books will help and mark the holes. I marked my pass side a bit off so I need to re drill the holes so be careful...and yes get it done by a legit body shop, needs to be dialed in before you go to paint!!!
