New Bumper Design

Figure it is going to be a long winter so I'm going to attempt to make my own bumper. I will be using my old stock bumper as the basis for my plug. This is the design that I am shooting for. Hey if it works out like I hope it does then I will have 2 bumpers to sell. I will keep you guys posted with my progress. Wish me luck.

And in color.

Other than the RLM bumper, I would install that next on my ride. Get rid of the grill gap and get the height up, we all know it looks good in pictures but sufferers in sales when customers realize how low it is. RLM and GTR both suffered from this...

The bumper design is really nice but it's not flowing with the headlights and grill.

6 and 6.5 bumpers can be interchanged so essentually you are looking at what it would look like on a 6.5

I agree, might look good on a 5.5 gen. The way the openings where the fogs are match the 5th gen headlight shape.

Lol...weld in some covers over your headlights and do some bodywork and then buy some 5.5 gen headlights and put them where the foglights are! Looks like they would be a perfect fit, or just keep the 6th gen headlights and use some 5.5 headlights as your fogs and blind the crap out of people...lol Just kidding

good luck with your project.

I think he's saying 6.5 gen headlights look better, which would make the car with this bumper look even better

That is a hot bumper man. Whats the projected price? put me down! I live in AZ. I just gotta worry about freaking highway pepples . Some 3M Clear bra will take care of that!

Looks pretty nice but that low a bump is nothing but a disposible accessory on NY roads. I give it a week and it will be shreaded on my car.

yeah low bumpers in NY is a bad sign. Well also depends on what parts you drive through. If your going through Tri state area then yeah I give it a week as well lol. I use live in Queens , driving through with a dropped suspension was terrible.

Agreed - great attempt but I don't like the way it flows. Looks like there are plenty of others who really like it, though

I think the overall shape of the bumper is very nice...

The IS-F front with the Ventross lip on it (i.e. which I believe is your chop picture) is SEX...I think if you can get the same sort of shape to work on the 6th gen it would be sick
