Tire opinion

Hey guys, im almost at that point where i need new tires again. oem is 245/45-R18 but i was considering 245/40-R18 because i am dropped on progress with gr-2's & 15mm spacers and the back will rub if i hit a bump. so my 2 thoughts were either to go coolmax05's idea to get coil spacers to lift the back a tad or get 245/45-R18 instead.

ive run 205/40-R17 on my civic b4 boost and the ride wasnt too bad. just wanted to get opinions on ppl that have or are running 245/40-R18.

TIA guys

thats the same thing i was thinking, i went down to a local tire shop that had used 245/45 and 245/40, the 40s looked more aggressive than the oem 245/45s. is anyone riding on the 40s now? if so post a pic, that local shop are selling them for $25 a pop used with about 50% tread worth a try. He also has 275/35s or 275/40s not sure off hand, whats the widest you've seen or heard of as an aggressive tire for a 6th gen max?
