As i was coming home from work at night i decided to park my car with the rear facing the house. As i was backing up with my foot on the brake pedal, the rear lights were working as always. But then when i put the car in park, i looked up at the rearview mirror to see the back completely dark. Keep in mind the car is on, in park with the lighting switch set to auto. The front headlights are working. i checked the fuse box inside and all are working. Then i started playing with the light stalk switch. With the car now off, i set it to ON. Then i saw the front right headlight was out but the fog light was on. Turned the car on again then set it to auto. Fronts were working again correctly. The back kept on being dark until i pressed the brake pedal which in turn makes them turn on. i checked the fuse box on the engine bay on the right side but saw nothing related to it. I'm guessing the IPDM box on the left might have something dealing with this issue?

 

Problem solved. Turned out it was the Tail Lamp fuse in the IPDM box. 15A fuse. Everything is working good now.
