Racing Seats - How can I make these fit?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PVC-R...item5634f66c8f

They say they dont come with brackets, so are all racing seats a universal bracket or something?

A majority of racing seats themselves are universal. As far as finding a bracket for that specific seat that will bolt up to your car, that's another story. More often than not, you'll need to have a custom seat bracket fabbed up for the seat. But they may make them. You just have to look around.

By the way, I hate to play devil's advocate, but I'd spend a bit more than $250 on a set of seats. The fact that they're made of PVC, don't have any kind of brand name, and are on eBay kind of worry me. But I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money...I'd just be afraid stitching would come undone. Or even the tracks would jam up. But I could be wrong.

Ok, not too many Maxima owners install seats in their cars for some reason. I happen to be one of the few who has installed aftermarket seats. If you search on here, you will find my thread. I bought leather recaro seats off of ebay and had Wedge Engineering make brackets for them. Total cost for seats and brackets: $1600. It is SOOOOO worth it. They are great seats and match perfectly. Im not bragging but Im explaining the proper way to have seats put in a $30,000 car. U dont want $250 seats - trust me.

honestly they dont look bad but if u can afford to buy better ones do so, those will prolly not be as comfortable as the stock seats. in my last car i made the same mistake thankfully i was able to sell them quickly and got some sparco's which where way more comfy and for those 2 hr rides to the beach the extra few hundred bucks spent was well worth it

I'm not sure I could drive with peace of mind in a $125 seat, not saying my choice is any better in a crash. I've been eyeing these for my 5th gen, and they sell the brackets for it. Twice the price but a much better seat IMO.

There is a guy installing bride seats into his maxima.
But I personally would not install cheap seats. Too much depends on seats and build quality/safety

Yeah, those ebay seats look nice, but if it looks too good to be true; it probably is. They are probably super cheap, and only look good in pics.

chric147. the seatbelt is mounted on the seat in one place(i think), and the other side is attatched to the door pillar. You'd probably wanna take the stock seatbelt out, but you could leave it and use one or the other if you wanted.
