Amp question, Bose vs non-Bose

Howdy everyone,

I am wondering if the Bose and non-Bose amps in our Maxima's (I have an 05) are the same? I need an amp, but I didn't really think about this until just now.....

My assumption is that they are NOT the same, but I've seen stranger things. Anyhow, any insight to this? Thanks.

Actually...yeah. Clearly they should be different....but I can't find any specs on the amp in the non bose setup.

No worries - I got the answer....one thing I am not is a car audio guy. Long and short of it is, whoever owned my car before me hacked the **** out of it and left me with a mess.

So, I needed to know if the amp was different. Not that big a deal, I assumed it was but didn't want to buy the wrong thing.
