Door Side Molding removal

I wanted to remove the lower side moldings on the door to repaint them off the car, but wasn't sure if they are on with tape, or if there are fasteners behind it. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I have some dings in it that need to be sanded down, possibly filled in, I didn't want to do any sanding while they were on the door...

They're stuck on with double sided tape.

No holes.

I've had mine off for years...
