I'm trying to take off the headliner to paint it, and I cant figure out how to get this piece off. It says "srs" on it so I havent pried it too hard in fear that the airbag will blow up in my face.

Next question.. I was talking with someone who said he took off the headliner without disconnecting the battery. I asked if he had side airbags and he hasnt responded. Are the side airbags only in the 6.5 gen, and not the 6th gen?

should just be clipped in place. and you have to take the seatbelt off first before you do that. take the cap off of it and it should be a 45 or 47 torx bolt. also the lower piece has to come off first.

Thanks! I'll have to look at it again, cause I didnt see any cap. All I saw was that piece that you pull out to raise or lower the seatbet. Do you know where this cap is in comparison to the square piece I'm talking about?

I would disconnect the battery reguardless...

Could turn into a costly mistake.
