So i've been driving around and noticed this problem for a long time. On and off i would hear a rattling noise coming from within the car, like crackling plastic. Turns out that it is coming from the hand brake, as it seems to be loose. when you move the handle side to side (left and right) there's a clicking noise. Dunno if this problem has ever been covered, or if there's a fix to it. Its not a huge problem, but just enough to annoy the crap out of me and make my car feel like its a cheap POS. I drive an 05 Auto SL. Anyone?
