Modified my C-Mod grille....again

Color matching is spot on considering it came from a can. I was so used to seeing it all black. I am still getting used to the new look. Leave it as is or hit it with the black again?

Ding! Ding! Ding! Sorry for the confusion fellas. The grill was all black before, now it's painted W40, Precision Gray to match the color of the car.

My bad fellas. Here are the after pics. The grill was originally painted black. I'm slowly getting used to it

Looks better now. I would remove the billet grill on the bottom though, makes the front look kinda ugly.

+1 on the lower grill - needs to match the mesh in your C-Mod Grill, overall your car is looking really good.

Looks good man...

Im looking at picking up the C-Mod grille for my 04.
Did you paint the screen? or is that factory color (in after pics)

and another question Im assuming you used the spray. do you hit it with clear coat after or just what you bought from the site.

for $35 im looking at buying the basecoat and clearcoat from that link.

Check out the thread for the first question:

http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...ter-style.html

The only preparation I did was wet sanding the grille. I gave it two coats with the spray can with no clear coating, that's it.

Yep... I like the color match. Is the paint more of a satin finish? Doesn't seem as glossy.

I was wondering and noticed that I can't just retrofit my stock front grill. Where can I get the c-mod grill for an 05 Maxima?

Same here. Is there anything that can be done with the 04-06 lower "grille"? Other than put that piece that I've seen on eBay over just the front and leave the sides exposed?
