does the fan blow like its on high on every setting except off? this is a common problem on the 4th gens and my g20 had the same problem if so. Its the resistor which is probably somewhere under the passenger side glove box on the 6th gen. thats where it is on those cars

So it's on high on every setting except for off? or even when you try and turn it off?

OFF ON doesn't matter it's always on HI.

Yea it happened on my 5thgen twice where you easily change the resistor, I'm assuming it's something similar but where am I gonna find a max to pull parts from.

I'm afraid of the dealer.

for my infiniti it was like $28 from the dealer (probably cheaper from dave b), you could try a parts store (ie auto zone, pep boys) or you could try somewhere online like rock auto

i feel bad for you bro... don't go to the stealership - they might do what they did to me and rip you a new one. Try a mechanic's shop around you - if you were in Toronto I'd take you to my guy and we could have had him take a look...

Hope everything works out for the best bro.

$90+ for theirs. I'm just gonna go to Coral springs Nissan $76 and call it a day. I hope it solves the problem or they better give me back my money...... lol

UPDATE:

New Control Module Fixed the A/C now I'm happy and cooooooool.

To all those with this problem just get a new control module (it's not called a resistor) and you should be good to go.

How hard was it to install do you do it and where is the control module just in case down the road this happens to me or someone else?
