Hissing Brakes.. 07 Max

idk if this normal or not but when i brake i hear a hissing sound.. ths is my first car soo idk if the sound is normal or wat? ... n i barely know anything about cars... um im thinking brake pads need changing??? or idkk... help.. some1 plzzz

i sounds like the little brake pad sensor clip thingy is touching the rotor i think lol
go to a auto shop have them see how much pads you have left they dont have to do anything but visually inspect them....its an 07 doubt its anything else

You definately sound like the type of person I'd recomend you get someone to help you look at this.

First thing to do, identify which wheel is producing the noise. Two people, one driving, another with his head out the back window could narrow it down immediately. Then, pull the wheel/s and inspect the break linings for wear, and rotors for grooves or marks. After that, you'll need to consider what you're capible of, and what you want someone else to do...
