Nice to see a 100K mile thread here. Does Nissan send out 100K mile club license plate frames to those that reach this milestone? I only ask as Dodge did it if you were the original owner as there are so many people that will not keep a car until it reaches or surpases that mark.

just hit 100k today on my way home from work. so far so good. We purchased this car new with only 4 miles on it in July 07 for $24k (one at this cost). Other than the mechanics @ Nissan driving it I have been the only one to drive it and it is still a sweet ride.

Not sure I would try to "hop-up" an older car with high miles without a rebuild.

That's prolly because it's a relatively big deal for a Dodge to make it to 100k, where with most imports, it's a common occurrence. Juuuuuuuus say'n

Congrats on hitting 160K Kms, 100,000 Miles

I believe as long as you use a good Synthetic Oil. Use a High Mileage Oil Filter. Make certain your Levels are correct you should get very High Milage.

my 96 Bonneville hit 310,500 Kms last Month but body rusted out from under rear Frame.

So I decided to get a 04 Nisssan Maxima and found one with 150,000 Kms. Running great but the first thing I did was replace the Motor oil with Ams/Oil Synthetic Oil and Oil filter for Synthetic Oil.

Next will be Synthetic oil for the Transmission.

The way this Car is designed I should not see any rust for many many more Miles so hope to get 300,000 kms on it in a few years as well

'04 119k

04 Maxima 6 speed, bought used with 60k on it when my beloved 95 SE finally succumbed to the rust these cruel northeastern winters bestow with salt on the roads. Could no longer solder or bondo to pass inspection. Cried when the tow from the junkyard came for her, yes, I called for the highest price. She had 303k. Replaced 1 clutch and 1 transmission.

My '04 six speed Maxima currently has 119k, have replaced the flywheel at 100k and am having trouble with the HID lights. Will see if I get 300k out of this one. Regular oil changes and car washes with under carriage rinses to get the salt off.

Good for you! Woohoo! My '95 had 303k when the body died, but the engine still had life. Keep going!

239,000+, still strong

Hi guys,

My '03 6 speed is just over 239,000 miles. Other than some front end work, and that damned oil thing, all is going well.

I DO have a question, though - I'm on my original - yes ORIGINAL - clutch, and it's time to replace, almost. Is this a weekend job for someone who's handy with a wrench? Or will it require a real shop?

Thanks!

Jack

PS: Yes - definitely got my money's worth! I still get around 25 mpg, too!

165k and counting. Could have passed 180k mark if I wasn't driving another car from year or so.

Congrates to all who passed 200k miles mark.

I just bought an 05 SE with 113k miles on it for my Daughter and it seems that it was really well taken care of and super clean. I hope she has good luck with it! With some of the mileage #'s that are being posted it looks promising!

I think I saw about another thread about this, but who has the absolute highest mileage 6th gen?

OK so if I have 292,000 miles is that a record?

Thanks

just hit 130k miles. Nothing but normal maintenance items replaced and still going strong. I think its because I subscribe to the BHAMS Theory (Black Hole of Automotive Metaphysics). It states "As soon as you perform an unnecessary repair, you will be forced to perform 3 necessary repairs to compensate for it."

So you replaced those shocks? Now lets see how you feel about replacing the clutch, radiator and ball joints...ha ha ha.

99999 At the Dealers Door

I hit 99999 at the dealers door last October 23rd 2013.
My wife wouldn't believe me so I had the service manager
confirm it. A real easy way to remember when my rear brakes and rotors
were changed.
