Depends, did you get the racing line y pipe with the cat or without?

Anyone know how much trouble it would be to change the tips to a dual like the stock one and will it change the sound?

Well i gave the link thats what i bought the racingline y pipe for cvt .. from : http://racinglineperformance.com/sho...&idcategory=24

cause when u read it the page says " Although this pipe deletes 1 of the 3 stock catalytic converters, no SES/CEL lights are triggered. The catalytic converter being removed is not metered and the cars ECU does not realize it is missing."

but it also says " Because the is pipe deletes a catalytic converter, it is thus branded FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY."

Tips won't change the sound. Any muffler shop can add tips.

Get this exhaust, chop off the mufflers, and get either:

or

http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...products_id=51

I had the flat black ones on my Max... LOVED them...

I would like to get an exhaust as well but don't know which one to get. I was thinking about geting a ebay exhaust on my vr4 but a lot of my buddies told me to just get a custom from a local shop because of the fitting problems with ebay exhaust. If you do get one please let us know as I am very curious about it. Thanks

I got the eBay exhaust last week and I love it. It fits perfectly after making a small adjustment to make the tips the same distance from the bumper. You will not be disappointed with this exhaust

I had no issues with fitment what so ever. You 're going to spend around 400 for a custom exhaust, between 600 to 1000 for a name brand and in the end, it will sound the same as the 200 one from eBay. Been there done that. Don't listen to people that don't have the exhaust, just talk out of their *** because of what they heard. Listen to people like me that have this. Worth every penny.

Yup, I'm pretty sure there all the same anyway. Sucks that you had to pay an extra 100 bucks to ship it to canada but it's worth it. You'll love it.

Let us know how much in duty/taxes you paid. Also can you let me know how many boxes it ships in. pics would be nice...and of course a video of it in action.

I may be heading down to the NY in the next couple weeks, and may order it in to the UPS store on Military Rd. so I just want to know how much room it would take up. Thanks

Well if you want full exhaust, this eBay exhaust we are talking about replaces from Cat back. That means you will still need a y-pipe and headers to complete it.

Dude...

''Although this pipe deletes 1 of the 3 stock catalytic converters, no SES/CEL lights are triggered. The catalytic converter being removed is not metered and the cars ECU does not realize it is missing.''

I don't believe it will fit, Maxima is a little longer car, you would have to modify this exhaust. They probably sell for the SE-R
