need exhaust suggestions...

Hey Everyone, I am looking at replacing my stock exhaust but I dont know much about exhaust's. I dont want to spend a fortune, and I dont care if the pipes are all shiny and pretty. Just the mufflers and tips need to look good. I want some nice growl sound, but nothing super loud. Dont want to much noise at highway speeds.

so with all that in mind, what is the setup any of you would recommend that is fairly cheap, but not "cheap" cheap.

thanks everyone.

You have any independent muffler shops near you? I'm not talking Midas/Car X etc.?

I'd get a new resonator:

And two mufflers:

Or if you like the stealthy flat-black look, try these:

I had those on my silver '04 and LOVED them.

Feel free to PM me, and I can hook you up with a friend at THM to get you a better deal.

there are ton's of threads on this allready. I recommend you do a search at the top and see the available solutions. The threads give clips and pics of other's rides. You can also use youtube for clips. I have an ebay exhaust setup. I bought two ebay mufflers with dual 3 inch tips for each side. 4 tips total. I then had a shop put 2 1/2 inch piping from the y-pipe back to the mufflers cutting out the resonator. Sounds great, looks great. Tonight I will post some pics. I am washing and waxing today so I can take some updated photos.
