Need AC Accumulator/Drier Part #

It is recommended any time you open your AC system to atmosphere that you replace the Accumulator/Drier. It is a small cannister that is mounted on a pad next to the AC Condenser on our 6th gen's. It contains desiccant that absorbs moisture from the system that would otherwise damage your compressor and corrode other components. Courtesyparts.com and the local dealerships only list a part number for the assembly with the condenser which is several hundred dollars and quite frankly ridiculous. That's like buying and engine block to get the oil filter.

I have purchased two aftermarket ones from Advanced Auto Parts and O'Reilly's (part# 83132) that both didn't fit. The holes in the canister for the freon lines are ~2mm too far apart. Autozone's model is special order and from the pic appears to be the same as the other two, just in a different box.

Any know the part number for the Accumulator/Drier from Nissan?

The AC system design was changed for the A34 model. The liquid tank is indeed a part of the condenser, not serviceable separately.

Those 83132 models you have tried are the aftermarket failed attempt at giving you a generic part to replace a specific one. They often do that when there is in fact no replacement available.

You mean they're treated as one part or are really one part? My drier is actually bolted to a pad with two tubes going to the condenser. Not doubting you...just confused.
