Is there any sort of lip that goes under a factory 04 front bumper? Links?

Well they are for regular lights but had the option to convert to HID, I guess the company that sells them on ebay figured that most people ordering Angel Eyes would prolly be lookin for HID's also esp since they are so cheap now. My headlights were actually only 50 bucks and they look fantastic. Altogether fogs are gonna be like 300 after installation.

well sort of, this was just a test to make sure it could be done, and it can, still trying to figure out what hardware to use, have plenty of ideas I just need to finalize the execution, it has to be motorized so it can be retracted when backing out of a drive way, its still in the early stages but I don't see this mod taking more than 4 hours to complete,

any update on this idea?

Im taking a breather on it, , when I tried to modify the pivoting angle things weren't as smooth, but I haven't given up I'll keep working on it, one because I need this since my wife is the one driving my car most of the time (I have a work van) and second cause it just makes sense to expand the clientele

if only this was made several months back, I have changed everything out but the hood to complete my 6.5 swap, still doesn't even look bad with the 04 hood just a little gap, and the lines on the hood don't match with the lines on the 07 bumper.

I know there are some question out there for the fog light hole on this first bumper, they still have the OEM size hole and have not been converted to a more manageable round hole for after market fog lights, so I traced the hole, maybe people can find an after market light that will fit this first bumpers as well.

After months in the making im finally done with this project!!!!
Bumper and lip came out better then i expected, lots of hours to get it all prep and ready for the paint also i had to wait for the fogs more then a month and half before i was able to test them on the holes but other then that this project/mod was very good......
Remember all this was done by me,im not a pro at anything i just like doing things my self.

I still need to buff and polish but im going to wait to do the entire car so as soon as i get that done i will take some day pics on the street or some.......

FYI... The bumper fits better than oem. The lower opening does flex a little which is good. I'm sure It can resist a bump or two.

This is still on of the best mods available IMO. Wish I had the fund for this right now.

How much lower than the stock lip is the conversion lip, based on this side angle here I was was thinking it's a perfect match for the Stillen sides.

Brillow, that came out really nice on your car!

The 07-08 bumper really looks good. But it looks like a very costly and time consuming conversion. How much time and money did it cost you if you don't mind me asking?

I just bought the kit and saved my stock for winter.Just the other day I got rear ended so the entire kit is off until spring again.I'd hate to hear someone hit you seeing that you put in all that time and money into it.But good job though
