fog lamps
I have an 05 Max and i just noticed yesterday that both fog lamps are out and have checked control setting. Cannot determine which is the fuse for them. the dash fuse box does not one one labeled for fog lamps, nor does the box under the hood. want to check fuse before getting into checking a/o removing bulbs. Any one know which fuse and its location? thanks, Steven

hey guys, sorry to bring back an old thread and to sound like a complete newb here. I've done some searches on foglight issues and found that the most common fix is to: a) check the bulbs, or b) replace the fuse. I have yet to check the fuse at this point, but I have found that both my bulbs are not burnt out after i took it to midas.
The midas guy said that it could possibly be an issue with a module i have and to run a diagnostic would start at around 100 bucks. I thought this was crazy talk and not worth it (i dont' live in an area with lots of fog), and left.
I wanted to pick your brains for an opinion as to if anyone else has heard about it possibly being a problem with a module (he never stated what module) or if it is most likely a fuse issue because from what I've read on the site, everyone says its just a bulb or fuse that's out. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone.

Sounds like the Midas Guy wanted to rape you for money. I'd never go back there again.
But if you can find the diagram for the fuse box checkout anything that might be related to the fog lights. Its more than likely the fuse.
Fyi: Fog lights are designed to widen the range of headlights now-a-days. They're more for extending the range that your headlights can't because they're forward.
That and filling the gap in front of your front bumper lol.
