I think lines on the corners could have been a little cleaner or smoother or connect in some way because it just looks incomplete. Also by the wheel well where its molded I kinda wish to not see that bend maybe add more material there? None the less it looks nice. Im just very picky when it comes to my car and I would have had this addressed.

I think we should do something like this. LED strips on the sides at bottom. The grill attached to the hood, so one piece, with front hinges to open forward vice normal. http://jalopnik.com/photogallery/ASICGTbent/1004021564

Why do you want to make your car to look like a Bentley when it's not? That looks ugly as hell. I am partial to a stock clean look, I mistook SE95MaxSkyline's car for a Maxima. Why not do a front bumper like that for the 2004-2006 models?

That's B E A U T I F U L...

But, somehow the sides throw it off somewhat because they stick out. Almost too much compared to the clean look of the rear. Maybe next time don't have them do such an awesome job!

Alrighty, as you all know we had a meeting with the company that's making the lip/bumpers, etc. People who attended the meeting were jsmithsole, Dstruc, illest, myself, and other crew from the shop.

Things look very promising and once I get an 07-08 car to be dropped off for 2 days (already set up but waiting on confirmation in the next 2-3 days), then everything will start and the lips will be available in 3-4 wks TOPS.

Material will be FRP - fiberglass reinforced plastic, that's made to be flexible and not straight fiberglass. Surface will be better than ABS plastic surface and very smooth, no bumps, bad measurements or anything since we're making it off an existing scion lip.

My front bumper idea to be made will be very expensive and will run about $450-600/bumper, which no way in hell anyone is gonna pay.

I'm trying to NOT have a group deal idea and for me to own the mold outright, but i'll keep you guys posted if anything changed. Price per lips should be around APPROX. $230-270/lip or so... not sure of the cost yet until we get this into play.

I'm committed to making this work and no matter what I have to do, i will do just to make sure it's done right. I'm sure we're all sick of waiting and only hearing words, but everyone that attended the meeting is a witness to what was said and the other projects that will come after the lip is made.

If you guys have any Qs, please don't hesitate to ask.

If no one decides to be a donor car consider a concept when we had trouble getting a 6th gen for sizing the RedLineMax Bumper until Jsmith stepped forward. Going to a rental car company and renting a 2009+ Max for 2-4 days then take your time and do your thing! Just make sure not to FK up the rental!!!

LOL Not taking a chance with rentals bro.

I already found a donor, just waiting on him changing his schedule. It's 90% confirmed in terms of using that car... just timing issue, no biggie. I'm pretty sure he'll come through, he's a good friend of mine.

Considering that no damage will be done to the donor's car, they'll get their piece at more than 50% off, if not more.

You do get a free piece when they use your bumper, chop it up, modify it to make whatever prototype or mold they need.

why make anything car look like anything else? That Bentley body kit probably costs as much as our whole car. It is a one of a kind kit. Hot enough to make the cover of Heavy Hitters magazine, and get 4 pages to explain what it is all about. Looks pretty similar to the OP's front end already with a few differences.

The donor vehicle will be dropped off Wednesday morning 8 am this coming week. This should be rolling out soon and everything should be done as scheduled.

I'm using that B's LEDs on bumper to do something similar to our 6th/6.5 gens. I'll keep you guys posted on that, but it's definitely a good, helpful pic to have.

Ok I need a list of the 6.5 Gens who'd be "seriously" interested in the lip. The price for the group deal would be $250-ish + shipping, if not a bit less.

They'll start on this tomorrow morning 8 am, and I need to know the list of people who'd be interested. First 10 get it at $240-$250 + shipping.

This is to feel out the demand. It'll be based off the scion lip that blazen has, and is a lip that doesn't need to be molded into the bumper.

Ok a little update before they send me more pics to post up.

This is the fiberglass mold/prototype they made to use and manipulate and make it fit 07-08's... This is starting early this morning and will send me more pics later on today.

Another Update:

Pics posted earlier today were taken this morning. These pics were taken few mins ago with the lip fitted into the car. This goes to show the process is very quick. Final fitment will be Approx this thursday.
