Purple is a hell no..................if you feel real strongly about doing a two tone then your best bet would be the color you have now and black. That's because you already have black on your car and by doing that, your just completing the look that your aiming for anyways.

IMO don't two tone it, but if you do don't go for a similar color. If your gonna two tone and spend all that money you might as well go for a color that contrasts with your paint now. A lighter color perhaps so it clashes and stands out. Think about it.

You really want to paint your car? K50 is like charcoal gray? You should change the name of the thread to "show me your two-tone paint job" You will get a lot good ideas that way. Oh yeah, don't go with purple rims.
I got an old pic, not my car of course.

I seen someone have a CF hood on a 6.5 before and it doesn't go completely over the headlights and it looks funny. If you want that then you got to go to a body shop and have them fix it up to fit the car perfectly. If you got the doe then go for it........

I would suggest the roof instead......you can buy some black vinyl and have a shop put it on. That way it won't be permanent and still look painted. Just in case you change your mind or something.

Dont ruin the car man.. purple rims? common..
IF you dont like the rims .. why'd you get them originally lol? That's why you should have done a lot of research to find something you'd like.
as far as two tone.. i wouldnt do it. I would just do the roof black. There is currently NO 6.5 gen carbon fiber hoods. Just do the roof black and leave it as that.

IMO purple suits certain cars/rims...like purple volk te37's on a black S15 ....however if you do decide to powdercoat ur rims purple i suggest yew stick with a purple theme...for example 12k HIDs in yur headlights n fogs... anyways, i photoshopped one of yur pics to give yew an idea of wat it would look like...
a lil darker:
i personally like the idea of purple rims w/ chrome lip on yur max...some people might call it ricey but everybody has a different taste...in the end it is yur car and yur opinion dat should matter...do whatever you're satisfied with...good luck
