Racingline Ypipe PROBLEM

Hey what's up guys.... just making a thread about something that happened to me.. idk how many of you guys experienced the same problem .. Well so i ordered a Y pipe from racingline ( http://racinglineperformance.com/sho...&idcategory=24 ) .and. i got it after like 2 months because it was out of stock for a while... so i got it and... this is what happened when i took it to shop to get it installed ( look at pics) .. so the shop had to cut and re weld the pipe to make it fit.. the back pipe was not lining up.. . n i am just curious how many of you guys had same problem or am i first one.... so far?

PS.... im LOVING the pipe now.... a lot of power gain... and sounds really good now ..

isnt there a slight difference with the CVT trannys and the 5ATs ? this could be your issue,

I dont know much about the cvts and how the exhuast is run to tell you , you should have called Taz @ Racingline to tell him this if this was an issue or possiable just the ypipe you have is for the 5AT or 4AT ?

Well, if they managed to get it to fit, you're fine. I would have had them put the stock one back on after you took those pics before they started chopping it up so taz could have worked with you and made things right.

But hey, they managed to get it to fit, so I say talk to taz to at least give him a head's up about this... and go out and enjoy your car!

Hopefully someone just put the wrong y pipe in the box, but that would still a be quality control mistake.
