I installed Progress springs last night with stock struts, the ride is great and the car feels and looks a ton better.

And to give a update my springs will be arriving tomorrow .. And the shocks are going to take week or so ... The sway bar idk yet .. So after 2 weeks or ao I should have everything installed ... I went to few shops n the rate I got to install spring/shock/sway bar was $200 plus $65 for W.A ... Good price? Ryt?

As far as Cattman goes, call them...their number should be here in their add in the vendor's section. You cannot order off of their site...phone only. $200 for install plus $65 for alignment is not bad at all...depending on where you are getting it done. Make sure it's a reputable shop/person.

Spend a few minutes and GOOGLE the shop, check the BBB website too...you don't want a bunch of hacks messing with your car.

Hello guys..

I am planning to upgrade my suspension..( well one at a time may be )..
I saw good reviews for Stillen but dint find any product for 2004 maxima SE.

My plan is to replace the rear Sway bar..Rear Shocks..front struts and may be strut tower brace..
What i think Sway bar wud provide more better handling..but will that be noticable over the stock one ? how do u suggest based on the importance..
like i sud go first with Sway bar..then rear shocks.then front struts...etc etc

also how is KYB ? they say its not for electronically adjusted..so i assume my car does not need that feature right ? and i sud be good with that option..

i found tokico also..pls suggest..

thanks in advance

Welcome to the Org...I know you're new, but you have to learn to use the "search" button at the top right side of the screen...there are all kinds of threads dealing with suspension. MOST people would agree with:
Racingline front strut tower brace...order from Racingline.com
Progress rear sway bar...order from Cattman performance in the group deals section
As far as springs, the most popular seem to be (in no specific order):
Eibach
Progress
Tein
As far as shocks/struts go, you only have 2 options...either:
KYB GR2, or
Monroe Sensa-trac

Nobody else is currently making any struts/shocks for our vehicles that I know of. Personally, I would purchase everything and assemble it all at the same time once you have everything...that way you're not taking everything apart multiple times. Otherwise, I'd do:
Strut tower brace
Rear sway bar
Springs/Struts/Shocks all at the same time.

I know money is tight, but wait to do the struts/shocks until you have the springs also. You'll just be taking everything apart twice.

Yea man it was pretty easy ... I bought the lip from eBay ... They don't make lip for 6.5 gen BUT the 96/97 accord lip fits the 6.5 gen .... It's like $30 plus $40 shipping .... It comes in matte black color ... I went to locol paint shop n got my color .. For like $30 ... Painted ot at home .. ( came out little bit messy but cannot see in pics or even in person u have stare at it...) I would have went shop but I plan on getting new front bumper so really I'm just using the lip as pratice for new bumper .. This is my first car the I dropped n had lip on so b4 I bearly new how to drove ground body kit
