You won't have any problems with rubbing. I am runnin on OE shocks with no problems.

Or I was bow thinking about getting adjustable coilovers D2 .... Few of my friends told me it's a lot better then springs cause like coilover. Are $900 .. Springs ran me $300 plus $400 for shocks ( if I buy them ) then $350 to get them insalled that's $950.... N coiovers will be like $200 so .. Around $1100 .....so $150 extra not bad right ??? N I can adjust the setting on those springs I cannot
I had tein lowering springs and now I have the D2 coilovers, the coilovers give you more adjustabilty and it handles way better but you suffer when u hit bad roads since the suspension is way stiffer with coilovers
What u mean by suffer ???? I mean idk what to do springs or coilovers ??.... I live in long island and the roads are soso 7/10 ... But I'm driving mostly on highway or little bit local ... .. N would u say coilovers are better ???
Suffer my feeling every pothole...if the streets are smooth if feels perfect but once you get into streets that are uneven ur gonna feel it...I've always like coilovers but some ppl prefer to be on lowering springs...For best handling coilovers is the way to go

I'm not sure what shocks/struts you were pricing, but if you are going to pay $400, then you are paying $200 too much. I got a complete set of KYB GR-2's off of Ebay...brand new...for $160 shipped.
I'm not sure who you are using for a mechanic, but if you are paying $350 for the install, then I'm in the wrong line of work. I just put coilovers on my buddy's GTi, and it took the better part of a morning...I could have done it even quicker, but he was second-guessing everything I was trying to do! It's pretty straightforward. If you can get your car to me, I'll install your shocks/struts springs for $100...you WILL need an alignment after the install, whether you use coilovers or shocks/struts, so you'll need another $100-$150.
^^^^ thanks for great info man ..... And no I don't plan on to slam my car... It's not going on tracks .... I'm not racing with it ... Unjust wanted to lower my car because I had gap between the front tires ... N yes my car is a daily driven car 100. Miles a day or more .... N handleing I won't be makig crazy turns ...the fastest I'll be going is 80mph at most .... I just want my ride height lower ....
So I should stay with springs right??? And can I get link for good shocks?
Thanks again for all help ... Like I said before I'm not trying to make my car a " race car" I love my car way to much I just like to drive
n have nice looking car

He had a listing with a "best offer", and I offered $160 and he accepted. Even at $177, you're still WAYYYY under $400.

do i really need them?? do they help out by a lot ?? i thought price would have been a lot cheaper lol like 120 for front n baq.... 0-o ... hmmm if they do help out a lot is it better get front /back? or eff it n spend some money buy both llol
I just have the back and it helps the back stay firm and not roll when turning at high speeds, is it needed? not really but is it a good investment? i believe so but its up to you if you wanna spend the extra money

Leeparts also has them for a good price, as well as the Nismo kit, but their website is having issues right now, so I can't link them.

It's my understanding that the front sway bar removal/install is pretty involved...I believe you have to drop the engine cradle. The rear is pretty straightforward.

A lot. I don't think you would be able to tackle this one. You have to remove a lot of stuff and then drop the support down. Yes, engine and transmission, not much but some.
