Noise from rear suspension
Noise from rear suspension
What's up fellow org'ers. There's a loud "squench" sound that comes from the rear whenever I go over a bump or dip in the road. I first thought it was because my suspension was blown (which it was) but when I replaced the shocks/struts in all 4 corners the noise is still there. I was told that it could be a problem with the control arms in the rear. Has anyone experienced this? I'm running KRB-GR2's and Progress springs BTW. All ideas are welcome. Thanks.
Yeah, I had that in the past and it came back recently. I hate the squeaak, makes our cars sound like a piece of junk. I had the oil changed at the dealer a couple days ago and they lubed the bushings, it helped about 50%. I still have the squeak.
My previous tech said it had some thing to do with the rear sway bar (I have Progress), so if the RSB connects to the rear control arm you may be on to something.
I'd love to get a photo of the squeaky spot because I don't think we are the only ones with the problem.

Everything along the rsb, I may go back to the dealer for this. I don't have the same tech anymore and my new guy isn't always available either. LOL you know I must be annoyed if I am going to the dealer for something.
