Can i please get some help with replacing floor and glove compartent light (led)

I want to change my floor lights on my passenger and driver side (footwells) to red instead of the pretty much yellow light. What do i need to take apart? I found the bulb and know that it is a 194 wedge but i cant remove it by simply pullin it out so how do i remove it?

Also, if i want to change the glove compartment box bulb do i have to remove the whole glove compartment? And how simple is it?

Any feedback is appreciated thanks in advance!!!

They are a ***** to pull out. I put on a pair of latex gloves to get a better grip on the bulb.

Carefully using needle nose pliers does the trick in the footwell, or reach up from the backside and unlock the socket. Thats what I did.

There are a few screws on the top edge of the glove box, remove them. You should have room the get tto the bulb.

For sure thanks !!!

Ok so we dont have to do any removal or unscrewing? You jus pull? And to put the new one in you jus push in it?

Yea just pull in/push out. I had the same problem when I did my led conversion and the biggest issue is to not break the bulb. For the glove compartment I had to unscrew the few screws and then get at it, for under the dash I had to have someone with small hands pull it out for me.

I dropped the glovebox and used a needle nose with electrical tape wrapped around it. Worked like a charm!

Yeah the passenger side is weird because the bulb aims sideways instead of straight down, gloves work or going in from behind as KC said...

And buy some red 9 led's from me, bright as...well you know) Link in my sig...
