maxima rim off-set

I KNOW someone in here knows the lug offset of the SE. I'm about to put some rims on and I would like to know or SEEM like I know what I'm talking about when I'm in the rim shop. I'm staying with 18 inch wheels.

Are you referring to the "lug pattern" or the wheel "offset" ? Bro, you're better off knowing rather than fronting like you know. . find out what your stock offset is and stay as close to that as possible. . theres a huge difference between +35 & +45 as far as offsets go . .

The stock offset is +40mm, and can be found if you take off the OEM rim and look around the backside of the spokes.

Will a 17x7.5 wheel with a 45mm offset (from a newer G35) with a 225/55/17 tire fit a 2004 Maxima ? I currenly have 18x8 245/45/18 and they look great but the ride it too stiff and Im thinking about getting a smaller wheel/bigger sidewall.

changing 18" to 17" rim

I am also wanting to change my 04 Max. wheels to some 17" rims & tires from a 09 Maxima. Will they fit & are their any other issues with the swap? The Nissan dealer says to check with the tire dealers. Have you received any further feedback?
