Hello,

I have a 2004 Maxima with 110k miles. Occasionally it will slip when in a parked position and engaging first gear. I had the transmission flushed about six months ago. I realize that there are common transmission issues with my maxima, so I am hoping that I can do something now to prevent having to rebuild the tranny.

Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to approach this problem? Also, does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be and how to address it?
