I remember people talkin bout this on the Spec V forums. everyone was talkin bout how ****ty that thing was built. There's no way that those damn fans could spin fast enough to achieve anywhere near 5psi. or so what everyone else has claimed on other forums. We let the USDM cars try it first before we even thought about buying it. you get the same effect when you're goin normal speed with the stock intake

I don't think this one is the one you want for your max. There is only one electric supercharger that works as mentioned. This is not it. I will find the site for you. I remember reading a review done by I believe motor trend a couple years back on these things. Give it some time with all the hybrids hitting the street, the electric supercharger will soon follow.

http://electricsupercharger.com/ here you go. 1psi is the max you get out of this thing. Not too hard to achieve.

You're better off wiring a hairdryer in place of your filter and setting it on max power.
Dont forget to have it on the "Cold" setting for max hp gain! Hey its a big difference between 0.9hp and 1.1 hp!

they DO make electric SC...but not the crap you find on ebay.
it isn't too practical either IMO, you'll need a pretty large electrical reserve to keep it running properly.

Yeah, it's definitely possible to build a proper electric supercharger that would make power.
The problem is the weight. Lots of batteries are needed.
Those ebay fan "superchargers" are a joke. lol

Yeah krazy6 nailed it....Thomas Knight had a 1st gen Altima project car some years back and despite being an auto, it ran something like a 14 second 1/4 (normally a 16-17sec 1/4 in auto form) but had like 3-500lbs in batteries, wiring, etc to make it work. Pretty impressive for what it was but not really practical for a dd and it was about as expensive as a regular turbo setup IIRC...
