04-06(maybe 07-08) - TransMission Problem - Then Look here.

At first i would like to say ..
Those who taking Nissan Side and Supporting them to Making the Crappy Product Then Your nothing but an As$.

Secondly - You paid anywhere between 30-40K for your Maxima Right. So often i read post and seeing A$sholes and (stupid American D!icks)

saying -oh oh I have 47k on my car im going strong
ex 2- I have 60k and im going strong
ex 3- I have 75k and im having no issue what so ever.
ex 4- my car never gave up, and had no problem, i only have 37k

----Listen up motherF|_|ckers....what you guys expect your car to fails before you hit 50K ??

I hate my self that i came here to read this. You spent 40k for the car, and you just hit 37k miles and you are saying, you are going strong??

hahahhah ja(k as$ess do the math, if your car fails at 40k miles then you have Paid One thousend doller Per (One Thousend miles) ... Now go figure it out and go do your self cows.

If you consider your self rich ... Sorry to brust your bubbles ... Rich people doesn't drive Maxima.......You have to look into something that will worth your money....or will Give you something in return ..

This crapy car doesn't give nothing but --Pre cat problem, Transmission problem, Mounts problem, ABS problem, Radio problem, Splash Gaurd Problem, TCM problem, Camshaft sensor, Speed Sensor, radiator problem, Tensioner problem or chain guide problem, Rust problem, HID problem.

Whats good about this Crap -- The looks of it... thats all ..

Once you go to a nissan dealer --- They are ready to rape you! So dont even try.

-------------Guys if the car starting to give you problem Get rid of it.-----------

--Those who are sitting between 30k-80k miles and consider themself going strong. well good luck dumb motherF[_]ckers, cuz soon Going hard will --Rape Your pockets--.

-----This post is my last since i do not have the maxima anymore.--- Take note those who are looking into buying 04-08.

One last thing ... If you have the money to through away, Please Donate them you might save lifes, Don't saving this Maxima ***** .

I understand that your pissed and venting BUT ,

sorry to break the news to you but every car has issues, if you purchase a car that was trouble free, dealerships would be out of business... simple as that, I hope you dont think that ppl that drives lambo and porsche dont have issues, cause they DO !

You think driving a Toyota Camary , Mercedes AMG , Ford isnt going to have some sort of common issues ?

Thats like saying HTC phones dont have issues, or Apple 4g dont have issues, everything is meant to be broken so that you spend money to fix it.

simple as that, heres a short list of things that can get you around

and im not excussing Nissan for the cheap parts they put on the 6th Gen I mean I traded my 04 at 49K no issues check out the 100K thread not everybody had an

My CVT does NOT shift instantly as well. My wife's Altima (CVT) is exactly the same.

That being said...

OP is 100% right- maxima is a crappy vehicle. The golden age of maxima ended back in 90's- quality is gone, price tag almost doubled.
Those of you who post "still going strong", you are just plain lucky and god bless your hearts. Being an exception of problems that are all over the internet about this car, does not prove quality of workmanship or reliability of this vehicle. If its going strong today, does not mean it will not fail on you tomorrow. Keep posting dude.

I love this thread..... I love my broke down maxima too. I mean it is running good but has it's issues. Nothing compared to my unreliable expedition. Once the trans got fixed. Everything else has been just fine. 85k miles and going on 7 years. not bad concidering I paid 23,500 for mine in 04. too tired to figure out the money for miles, but I think it's doing just well for me. Still one of the best looking/sounding cars around.

4 transmissions?!! You are really a dumb ***, aren't you?? After my first, I would go to manual and be done with it.

71,XXX and the engine is awesome, trans is still silky smooth (after being warmed up) and all of the interior electronics, HIDs are origional and working perfectly. My issues were the shimmy (that was just fixed), suspension issues, and axles. I am happy and plan on keeping the car at least another 3 years; I am at 5 years and 9 months of ownership now. After that, I will give it to my son and I will take over our 2010 MDX.

OP. Take a quaalude and chill, good luck with whatever your new ride will be and please post what you end up getting.... and any issues you develop.

You'd be ok with an '07 CVT... Nissan extended the warranty on that to 100,000 miles/10 years.

So I'm looking at an '07 Maxima SE with 78k on the odo on Monday. Looking through the threads I'm not seeing much specific info on the '07. It appears as if the '04-'06 are having tranny and cat issues. How about the '07? Any advice for me when looking at this car?
