I have a 2008 Maxima SE and the alternator went out. I jumped it off a couple of times to get it out of the road and then it locked up on me. The key wouldn't even turn and I had to have it towed to Nissan. They said it was the alternator master fuse(on batt) and my radio was fried. Putting the alt and fuse solved my problems except now I have no radio. It still lights up but won't do anything and the display above doesn't work. Can anyone help me also if it is just the radio will the factory 6disc changer work on mine?

 

Have you checked your radio fuse?

 

Yes all fuses have been checked

 

maybe you can install an after market? may be cheaper
