Update on absolute disgust....

So cleaned out the old stuff in my crank case and it started clogging all my sensors. Replacing an O ring on my Intake Valve Timing Solenoid. It plugged it up and blew on the back side of the motor so it took me awhile to find the leak. This has me worried and i wonder if I should install a temporary Oil pressure gauge so I can hopefully catch it if to much breaks loose and clogs my oil pump screen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I dont understand but your engine is full of ****. How dod it get that bad ? Did you neglect oil changes ?

Oh yeah, this is what oil break down looks like, and it is generally caused by overheating. Hence, oil tarnish and sludge. This is dyno oil that has been rarely changed out. I would guess annually at best.

Engines primarily get rid of heat in two ways. The obvious mechanical way that we all know of is coolant, radiator and water pump. The not so, and often neglected one, is the passive by way of radiation. The engine is designed to radiate heat and it is a key part of the calculation in how the engine is designed to dissipate heat. I say it is neglected because when individuals (1) do not clean the exterior of their engines and (2) do not adhere to proper oil maintenance, engines cannot dissipate heat as they were intended to. From there it just exacerbates the problem...engine is constantly running a little too hot and you get cooking of the oil. Over time oil tarnish collects and invariably builds up to sludge....sorta like if ya never brushed your teeth, you would have some serious plaque on your fangs.

This engine is shot. Well, not totally, but it will never perform like it is supposed to. The tolerances between all the moving parts have probably been increased by over 100%, and that would be/is a sloppy engine.

Seriously, I'd get it all back together and sell it ASAP. You're only going to have more and more trouble as time goes on.

Change your Oil Every 900 for 4 Times ....With reguler thin(5w30) oil. After 4th time SeaFoam it for 1400 and change it with (5w30) synthetic. You should be fine. Other then that Please do not drive.!

Just for the record I did not do this to the engine. If you look at my last post you will see the Crank case is worse, well was. Im hoping to salvage it since it still has good power and Im in process of getting her right. I have owned the car for 2 months is all. I am changing oil every 2500 miles and seafoam right before every change. The only reason I have stuff clogging now is because we had to scrape the crank case to see timing marks. If problems do persist I will sell it but I got a good deal (apperently not that good) so I can drop another $2000 and still be below book on it.

Well, hopefully you can salvage it but damn...you got fuked with that ride you JUST bought. Not positive but if it's under 60k than you might still be eligible for a powertrain warranty from Nissan.

No I think they ran no knock in it. Oil was very thin and there was still no noise when i changed it. Had the typical tensioner noise and when i went to change them i realized how bad it was. Has 104,xxx at time of purchase so no warrenties at all. I got bent over the barrell but I love the car so debating on selling or rebuilding.

Well, I have looked at the reply's you got, but I must admit there is only one that I am really interested in hearing and that is Chernmax's. So, Chernmax, what would you do if this was your engine?

Oh good god that is KING Grungy. Anyone ever replace the oil in that car? I'd pour a whole can of SEAFOAM right in the crank case alone. Anyway if the cover is off someone already knows they wronged this engine!
