broken Eiback spring

Passenger side front Eiback pro kit spring broke over the weekend. Springs only have about 40k miles on them. I'm not too happy. Car has a total of 60k miles on it. Everything is stock, except for the springs and wheels.

Anybody have this happen to theirs? What are my chances of Eibach honoring the warranty if i don't still have the receipt and original packaging?

eibach springs

i had the same thing happen, i have an 02 maxima and i had the pro kit for about 4 years on and lets just say they were ok , so 2 months ago the right front spring broke and blew out the tire while i was driving. so i had the car taken to my job and looked into eibach they told me to send them pictures of the spring and the damage and copy of receipt, i dont have the receipt cause its been years and they said there is nothing they can do, oh and while waiting to see what was gonna happen the drivers side broke from just being parked , eibach sucks they dont stand behind there product so now i have H&R kit. sorry the story is long but im angry that they couldnt help hope this helps you good luck.

I just talked to Eibach customer service. Same thing you said roloberr, if you don't have reciept, your out of luck. Even if i did have the receipt and pictures of the spring ( i do have pics just not the reciept) the girl said it would take a few days to process and then ship (ground) from california to PA which takes at least another 5-7 days. I'm pissed....

I've replaced a total of 9 broken Eibach springs, on 7 different cars.

It's the reason I never recommend Eibach, ever.

Even when they ARE installed, they're quite harsh.

That happened to me two years ago...I had the passenger side spring break...a clean cut and the car was making a weird noise over road cracks...I still have the pictures...and they had to send two new springs on warranty...I was lucky though I caught it early. But very upset that it was expensive to replace. Three hours work for both sides! If it ever happens again I will get H&R or Tein...
