Well, if it is a cut to the leather, then a new piece will be required. Go to an auto-upholstery shop and they will put in a new section.

Look for a shop similar in services offered to this one, www.ronsupholstery.com, in your geographical area.

it will cost alot to repair..... theres not much to do. Or, you could just dye the scratch with a permanent marker to make it less apparent...

Okay that sounds good I will try that the next time I detail my car. Just got into it with a 08 350z. I had him off the start then he just kept going. I wonder what I would need to beat a stock 350z. That would be a nice feeling. I hate how they stomp on us when on the "race track" ;-).

Hey, thanks for racing on the street, putting innocent people's lives at risk, and giving Maxima drivers a bad name!

No you weren't, my friend. Your post clearly stated that you were on the "race track," meaning, the streets you use with everyone else. If not, take some lessons in the use of quotation marks.

Stop acting like an idiot. You clearly said that you raced him on the street, and you did. Racing on the street is retarded and you will end up killing someone, someone's girlfriend or someone's kids (or your friends, GF, or kids). Dont talk about illegal racing here. We are against it.

You trying to tell him he cant read proves your immaturity...

Prince- you need to be careful with what you post about racing. You've had a couple of threads locked due to topics like top speed, etc and the mods have recently dusted off their Ban Hammer and they could swing it your way. I would give a mea culpa and let it die. You can't defend the indefensible.

That's easy! You get a 6spd manual Maxima with minimal mods like mine. It feels good but not as good as you may think. It felt better when I got smoked by a Ferrari then smoking a 350Z.

Before you pay to get this fixed. You might wanna try this:

http://www.amazon.com/Meguiars-G-721.../dp/B0009IQXG8

And see if it helps any. It's fairly cheap and will give you a good estimate of how bad the problem is. Most likely a button isn't going to do much damage to the leather itself.

Leather repair in general is going to cost a LOT. Or you can just let it be unless your that uncomfortable with it.
