Hey guys, I just got my maxima a little under a month ago and still kinda new here so i dont know what kinda issues are typical with these cars. I bought the car with a bad/noisy compressor so i had to change it as soon as i could. Now that it has been replaced and i can actually hear the engine properly i notice that whenever the car is cold or has been sitting for at least 4 hrs at startup i hear this kinda wobbly/spinnning noise coming from the engine only for like 10 seconds then goes away. If i hit the gas at the same time its amplified. It almost sounds like something is loose or not tightened properly in there. While driving or if the car is warm its pretty much non existent.

At first i thought it was something that didnt get retightened after the compressor job but i wasnt sure if the noise was there before the shop touched the car because the compressor was so loud. I brought it back to them and the mechanic said its probably the timing chain going bad but i wouldnt have to worry abouy that for another year or so. That sounds like BS since chains dont usually give an audible warning before they go. I plan to get a second opinion soon but was hoping to get some insight from you all first. The noise is gradually lasting a liitle longer as each day goes by. Not sure how serious this is but i need to at least know what i'm dealing with here. Thanks for any and all input
