2004 tranny

Well it finally happened, my max seems to have a delayed shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. This only seems to happen after I have gone down the interstate for a while and things have heated up. My max shifts just fine around town and while its cold but after I travel down the interstate at 85 for a while then exit, come to a stop then take of it hesitates from 2nd to 3rd and the rpms jump while not in gear. Does anyone have any insight as to how to go about fixing the problem? What does the transgo cure? Im hoping this is all that I need.

Well, you said it: "it finally happened." Valve body issue presumably. However, run a scan check first and let's see what's going on in the tranny. By the way, how many miles do you have on your max, and what trim-SE or SL?

AW55-50SN TransGo kit. The place we took the car to did for a total of $172.00, including new gasket, my kit, and fluid. They did an excellent job, and the car is doing great.

If you've "read just about every thread here" then you should be well aware of the options before you. Why do want to change your tranny without trying these options? Is your SES light on? Have you scanned your tranny to confirm if there are any DTCs? Is your 2004 a 4speed or 5speed?
