Help with headlights!
Well.. a few weeks ago i added some led fog light strips to my maxima, and didn't hold the wires down well enough..
Yesterday I jacked up the car to change the oil and crushed a wire for the led's..
to get power to the lights i'd tapped the power into the driver headlight plug..
Now my drivers headlight, both foglights, and both led strips won't work..
i havn't messed much with the foglights, but i tried 2 different ballasts in the headlight, and even tried plugging a factory headlight back in, but still nothing..
do the headlights possibly have separate fuses?
any ideas?

i hate electrical problems man.. i've spent so many hours scratching my head.. sorry i can't help but i'd need to see it. check ALL your relevant fuses, and then recheck the connections, and then recheck polarity. start with one wire and follow it until you've made a loop.
if all your lights went off, my bet is that you blew a fuse. so start pullin.

That's what I figured from the beginning, I've checked all the fuses (that I can fin atleast)
I have a extended warranty on the car that will cover any electrical, but then I would need to take out the hids, remove the leds take off the intake etc, so that I don't void the warranty...

Agree with the rest and check your fuses. Also, if you crushed the wire than depending on the severity of it or what happened with the wires because of it. That can effect everything else that's connected to it. Which might be the reason why you are having problems with your headlights and what nots.
Did you try disconnecting the LED's and checking if the headlights etc. worked? Or did you check the wires from the LED and where it was connected? You might wanna try that out to pin point where exactly the problem is coming from. You might just have to replace that LED strip and it's wires to correct the issue.
I've had something similar happen with the LED's inside the cabin. Found out that with one of my LED strips. I guess I was in some sort of hurry that day because I didn't tape it off properly and the + and - wires were making contact. Which in turn, every light in the interior turned off. Re-did it later on that day and everything else was good.

It's great to hear that everything worked out for you man. Anyways, electrical issues with cars are often connected in one way or another to anything that is near the source of the problem (I'm no expert but that's my best explanation).
Like I said with my situation. I messed up the wiring on one, single led strip and all the interior lights wouldn't turn on until I fixed the problem.
