Possible suspension problem?

I've went to two places, one telling me there are no issues while another saying I have a worn sway bar link but I do not need to replace it yet. The reason I went in the first place because of odd creaky attic like noises. The noises work in different ways. Sometimes it is really bad, sometimes it is so/so and sometimes I can drive 20 minutes without hearing any noises. Like just now I drove from my friend's house and heard nothing until the moment I was almost at home. Either way, the noises have gotten more audible in the last 8 days since I got it checked out. One thing I am pretty certain of is with a passenger in the car the noise gets more audible.

So what do you guys think? Worn sway bar link? And anyone know what a fair price would be for part and install? Called Pep Boys late and they wanted over $300 which seems really steep.

Either way I plan on going to another place and getting it checked. The noise can get pretty annoying.
