Power steering fluid

I know there are plenty of threads on this but want to verify what is the correct fluid. I know Nizmo101 posted a pic of a castrol ATF but wanted to verify I got the correct one. Does anyone know the link to that thread. Thanks ahead of time.

Do you expect a McMeal with your link?

I vote for a mod to lock this

I can't find the exact thread that you are looking for, but any Dexron III or compatible ATF will be fine. I put in some Mobil 1 ATF, worked perfectly and actually quieted down my PS pump a bit.

Its been posted multiple times that ANY DEXRON 3 FLUID IS WHAT IS NEEDED

Plus, it's written in the user manual. Really. You did not read it.

Get whatever brand or color fluid you desire, but get dexton 3, really.

"Another smarta** comment by u like usual."
I will gladly help anyone who doesnt ask for something that has been answered 10 times here already.

"I just want to make sure I'm adding the correct one since there are different ones. Also I did search on here n my6thgen unlike plenty of othere pp.l Im not a newbie n been a member here for a while."

Well I don't know what and where you searched, because right on those forums, theres a sticky in the fluids and lubricants section answering all this over multiple pages.......

Plus, let's look at the service manual:

Ok, here... took me 15 seconds.

Service manual. Maintenance. Recommended fluids.....

I will not believe you searched and did not find this. It would have been faster for you to search than to argue with me over the forum....

"
*4: For Canada, NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF), DEXRONTM III / MERCONTM or equivalent ATF may also be used."
